Today I was told that my close friend's grandma had passed away. While I was writing a message to my friend, somehow I also felt grief. Is this what people call a connection between friends even though we are far apart?

I think so.

This made me realize that even though we dont even communicate all that much, I really do care and love this friend of mine and whatever that saddens her affects me as well.

The boyfriend agreed to spend an entire day with me and bring me shopping. We had maccas for breakfast and we left after I got ready. So shop we did! We spent a good 6 hours in the mall and we practically covered all the shops in OU. Yes we cool like that :)
We eventually got really bored and decided to kill our last 2 hours in the mall by watching Monte Carlo, which by the way is SUPER DUPER AWESOME and is even better than Lizzie McGuire The Movie!
We went over to Jess' place after the movie because Jess and Justin were gonna lead us to the place we were dining for dinner in Mont Kiara.

There was a jam coming out from OU so I decided to camwhore but camwhore attempt totally failed because I have not camwhored in ages!

MY plan was to have dinner at Dirty Nellys near Atria.
THEIRS was to surprise me at Poh's with one of my favourite food, Spaghetti Carbonara.

So clearly, my friends won :)
Once again, straight in 3 years I am surprised at my birthday. So I guess it's a hattrick for thedynamic charchie and steel :) Evon had to continuously stall and slow the journey down because poh wasnt done cooking. She even had to pace up and down the toilet in church while I wait outside in the car impatiently. *haha* so after a 3/4 success rate of stalling, we finally reached pohyi's house because we were suppose to pick her up for Dirty Nellys but nooooooo, she wasnt done being 'ready' and kept us waiting outside in her porch. So Shandy the dog took over the stalling time and entertained us by running in gigantic circles.

after what it seems to be eternity, poh finally let us in and I was stunned by them surrounding the dinner table shouting 'SURPRISE' followed by a birthday song.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the effort and well, the effort of wanting to surprise me :)

I had uni and so I happily went because Floyd was gonna treat me to lunch!

I had maccas for breakfast with daddy before heading to uni so when Floyd and I were at Bangsar, we decided to have Baskins instead because apparently he snacked and wasnt hungry also.

So I had my yummy yummy two scoops of Baskins!

At night, it was finally some one on one time with my special someone. :)

No, it's not the boyfriend. He has exams and quizzes throughout this week.

I had Jess for the night all to myself!

*evil laugh-muahhahahahhaha*

So we had local roadside burgers because I wanted em.

Jess drove me to Desa Park and we had our dinner on a bench overlooking the night view of the lake. Super romantic! :D

We finally had the time and leisure to just sit there and talk and talk and talk and talk without having to worry that the we need to rush on assignments because the semester is over!

Overall, I had a really lovely birthday celebration and I wouldnt trade it for anything at all.

Today marks the historical day where Malaysians unite and fight for our supposed rights to have clean and unbiased election. Many made a comment saying, why could the police squad be so efficient in disrupting the march but so useless in catch ONE acid splasher. Due to this march, almost all the roads leading to the INSIDE of KL has been blocked. Despite that, fifty thousand brave souls made their way into the heart of the city and defended for their rights and the rights of all the citizens of Malaysia.

I never thought that I could love my country this much and worry for the people whom I do not know. While I was at home reading live feed on Facebook and Twitter, I could not help but worry and fear for the people who were at the rally. I did not want anyone to get hurt from this rally. It was suppose to be peaceful, it was suppose to be something that would stir the want for fairness in people. We succeeded in bringing people of all races together, we succeeded in marching in, moving one feet in front of the other just to be one step closer to our destination. However, there are still people who do not know what this BERSIH campaign is about. There are ignorant people out there who cannot be bothered about this historical, remarkable, history making event. They complain and whine that they cannot go out and that this event has ruined their Saturday but little do they know that today, we have gone against the government and won the challenge. Today we have fought for our rights, we did not stay behind the safety line and let the police and government tell us what to do. Today, we made it clear that we want clean elections.

After watching several videos of what happened today, after looking at pictures posted up, I felt the most utter respect for all of the people and leaders who put themselves out there to march. After being shot tear gas and chemical water at, they persisted. Nothing deterred them from their objective and I think for that, they deserve a bravery medal.

This is a season for change. This is the time for us to step up and stand up for what we believe in. Today is an important lesson to be taught to our future generation and to the world. We will not be repressed by the dark side. In numbers we shall outnumber the wrong and wrong the right.

Clean elections and freedom of speech. This is all we are asking for, no more no less. So why is it that this peaceful march has to be messed up?

If there is nothing to hide, why stop us?

So far this semester is pretty unusual. I have seen Jeremy waaaaaay less than I want to, two of my best friends hooked up and I am actually kinda ahead with my assignments!

It has been a roller coaster ride with my emotions and feelings but I am glad to have sessions with my BFFs, have lunch ordering all my favourite food, going for counseling sessions and had fun at the hot springs for a weekend with the youth from church.

All those really took my minds of things and I'm glad I feel less stressful now.

Recently, I felt more and more uncomfortable blogging for the public anymore. Not even for my friends. I feel like there's nothing much to update despite me going through life everyday. So I might probably just stop writing.

Another weekend later, I went to Felda Residence Hot Springs in Sungkai, Perak with the youth.

We boiled eggs at the hot springs and also dipped our toes and sunk our bodies into the hot springs(well some of them did anyway).

The eggs were boiled at a separate area from the springs where people soak themselves in FYI.

So the youth from my church apparently loves the pool more than the hot springs so we spent more time in the pool playing Captain Ball!

Feelings in us are inevitable. However I am one who rarely goes through all the emotional feelings. I am bubbly 98% of the time but today I just experienced really deep and painful feelings of sadness. I weep inside me but not on the outside. It's not that I dont cry, it's just that I have no one's shoulders to cry on and it is not fun to cry alone. There are so much pent up feelings inside me that I do not know of and those that I cannot remember. I do not know why am I sad but I just am. I may know why but I'm uncertain of whether it is that reason or not. There are things that I wished I could tell someone but I'm carrying it alone now because it is a secret that is not supposed to be revealed.

I have never struggled so much to hide my feelings. I feel like I should come clean and distance myself from it all but it would also mean that I have to give up something that I love so much.

I dont know how much this feeling is true.

I'm scared because if it is what it is, it jeopardizes everything.

I'm sad because I'm afraid it will break my heart.

All I want is to be heard.

All I want is to tell somebody.

But I cant.

So I'm left to cry on my own, listen to sad music that fits what I am in right now accompanied with the little sobs that come in between along with the tears streaming down my cheeks uncontrollably.

I dont know what is happening to me and I dont know why I'm crying.

I just know that I'm feeling very overwhelmed.

Dinner at Bettys

Saturday, Poh and I had the luxury of picking Yoke Shan up from her place and after youth, I got to bring her out for dinner. It was totally random but I'm glad that it happened. We had a good time of girl bonding and it made me realise that I had a mental age of a 17 year old. It seems that I can mingle with girls of that age group and also Vicky, the 14 year old. Weird as it seems, I find it slightly comforting to know that I'm not aging mentally yet! Now I've to work on talking to people above age 18 :/

So yes, pictures!!!

Everyone told me that Dog Food is a MUST TRY at Betty's. Either my expectations were too high, or the chef wasnt paying attention while cooking mine, because I felt that it was just okay.. Not fantastic, but I did enjoy the Mac n Cheese though. It wasnt the cheesy Kenny Rogers kind, which was GOOD! because I'm not a big fan of cheesy cheesy stuff. Food was okay, fellowship was GOOOOOOOD !

I had an enjoyable night thanks to these two.

One thing about your ears not being occupied with music blarring from your ipod, is to have to opportunity to kepoh and hear what other passengers have to talk about. Normally it is not that interesting, hence the ipod but today was different.

While I was on the way home today, i ~~overheard~~ eavesdropped this conversation that happened with 3 girls and 1 guy, but mainly it was the guy telling his story.

Basically this guy had was talking about his girlfriend. (I'm assuming that he's fresh outta high school, 18 this year) who was supper obsessed and controlling. It was to the extent where when he takes a tad too long in the shower, she bombards him crazily with a gazillion SMS-es (okay, 5 texts) saying things like

"are you taking longer showers so you dont need to talk to me??"

Not just that, she texts him at 6AM when she wakes up, and she texts him again the next minute at 6.01AM. If he's too tired and cant be bothered to reply her (duh right, who wants to reply texts at freakin 6AM?!), she continues to text and text and gives the angry emoticon - :-@ to be exact. Now this guy walks home from school and everyday without fail, his phone would vibrate the moment he got home(as if she were psychic to know when he reaches home) and he would receive this text

"Are you home yet?"

Stunned , was my reaction. I literally had to bite my tongue to prevent myself from saying what I felt out loud. But I guess it's like those high school puppy love romances that will never last kind.. So yea, as he continue rambling on bout his 'abusive' girlfriend, he further mentioned that despite them seeing each other 4 times a week, she doesnt really talk in person.

I was like wtff??? then how do you communicate??

Apparently, even when they sit next together in tuition, instead of just telling him, she'd text

'I'm cold'.

Seriously! and the best part of the story is , they were only together for 2 MONTHS!

no more no less.

They broke up because that controlling girlfriend of his rekindled her love for her ex.

I'm seriously speechless .

So yes, that was my interesting/kepoh bus story. :)

Then when I got home, I received a text from a friend of mine who has been rambling about his this girl that he likes but is taken. So all he can do is protect her like a big brother, la la la la la. Then sometimes he says things like,

"If she weren't taken, I would confess my love for her."

*cringe*

you ask why? okay, i'm going to be a little shallow here, dont judge me, or heck, judge all you want. This is just my opinion.

He is your below average joe. I do not want to go into detail of how he looks like, it's just, he's not the person people would fall for at first nor a hundred glances.

He doesnt know boundaries. He tells me, she doesnt like it when I play with her hair.

In my heart I was saying, of course not! I wouldnt even let my ordinary/ close guy friends play with my hair. What for???

Then he dwells in facts where I think girls really dont bother bout, eg. the meaning of the colour of rose given.

He gave her a dark red rose, which meant, something bout romantic love la i'm quite sure, then he asked me whether it was okay. I told him straight that girls seriously dont bother what colour the rose is, unless it's yellow because that's for sick people.

There's just so many things he says bout her, like how she calls him 'kor', a brother. So LITERALLY it means, I treat you like a brother and not a person that I might consider having a future with so take a hike!

I must say that from what he tells me, her signals telling him that SHE DOES NOT LIKE HIM is super strong and he just cant read the signals bcuz probably his antennas cacat.

I guess I'm wrong on my part to not tell him that she doesnt like him. But i didnt encourage him to persue on what! All I said was, keep boundaries.

Then today he comes asking,

Is it normal for a girl to hang out with a guy for the whole day?

Am i being jealous?

YES YES YES . jealous for nuts!

I told him straight that it was none of his concern who she goes out with. But I added some softness to the text by saying, Chill with a smiley face.

I seriously dont know how to deal with 'delusional' people who think they have a shot but they really dont.

It's been a while since I wrote , so I decided to write again before my life gets busy again. Since the last post, I was still completing my law assignment and coping with other assignments and up till monday , I wasnt getting enough sleep because I was busy cramming and doing last minute studying for the dreaded Biopsychology.

What I learnt about myself throughout this period of time studying and completing my assignments is that I may start studying/ doing assignments earlier than everyone else, but that doesnt mean that I can complete it earlier than anyone. Sad but true. So that is why I start earlier and work my way through slowly, take it by the day. I have friends who burn the midnight oil and can still manage to come up with something similar to mine or sometimes even better ( not that my work is all that fantastic, but I do a lot of research before I start writting, I dont just wing it). God is fair in that way, he gives others more brains and me, more time to pace my way through.

Throughout the first quarter of the year in youth, we hardly had cell group, instead we have more youth outings and more sessions as a big youth group. As much as I appreciate the time together with all the younger ones, I do miss having just the girls together for cell, or girl talk. One of the things that I still need to work on is communication with them on a personal, one on one basis. Not just that, the blog thingy failed miserably and I'm very disappointed in myself for not thinking of a better way to keep it going. I was just thinking to myself, it's probably gonna be very hard to gather all the girls together for a decent meal, but then now that I really put a lot of thought to it, it's not really tooooo difficult. So i'm probably gonna organize a meal soon!

I'm really really grateful to have my uni friends because they are such a blessing to me! Jess carpools me when she has the car, makes silly jokes(NB), get things to fall off her table during 106 and just doing silly random embarassing things that makes all of our days because it's so EPIC!, Justin is the reason that I can go out at night (For studying or to do assignments , but it's still going out!) and Jeremy for saying really lame things like he likes gonads!

Weird thing is , until now, I still dont have a decent photo of Jeremy and Justin yet.

Also I have not had enough time to chill with people from MCKL yet :( supposedly planned then plan fail because we fail to plan . I really have to get it done soon before people start flying off to UK.

yes i agree that it is not good(and probably not right to be narcissistic) but i cant help it! dah la it is so rare that I take nice pictures, so when i do, i would just stare at them. *whoops, i just gave out my horrible little hobby*
but yes, you tell me you dont stare at your NICE pictures. No right!! ok , i guess not everyone stares at their pictures for a million seconds, but you would still look at your picture and say it's really nice and probably put it up as your FB profile picture so that you can fish for compliments right! LOL. i'm just like justifying my actions so that I dont feel so bad. haha :D

The best thing my boyfriend can do for me is to text me to say he misses me and that he loves me. Even though it doesnt change the fact that I still miss him and want to see him more often than i could, but it helps me cope with the distance. I know its kinda bullshit saying that it's like long distance even though we're still in the same country and the same state because other people out there do LDR on an international scale. now he stays further than when before and the worse thing is we dont even skype or talk that much on a daily basis. But yet i think this is the beauty of this relationship or any other long distance relationship. It doesnt matter how far or how long the distance is, seeing him again makes up for all the pain of missing him. Even though I occasionally envy my friends that have their girlfriends/boyfriends around them everyday, I have the consolation of knowing that my boyfriend will never ever say that i'm freakin clingy or that I'm being a bitch for bugging him to spend time with me or make him stay up to talk to me even though he's really tired.

Sometimes i dont know whether i'm being too demanding as a girlfriend wanting him to text me everyday and ask me about my day when at the back of my head i know he's busy with uni and assignments and that's more important. The worst part is he apologizes for not spending enough time on/with me and i'm having selfish thoughts. He's just the best thing I have right now and i'm extremely grateful to have him. I totally understand that he's busy, but i guess it's just normal for me to miss him and recently i've been missing him more than ever. It's not even like close to any valentines day(over de), or our anniversary or whatsoever. I just miss him. Sometimes i feel like bombarding his FB inbox w messages, or text him every time i thought of him, but i'm afraid he might think that i'm being clingy or buat kacau.

I just need to be around friends to feel better.

Happy Chinese New Year!! :)

This year I planned to watch shows using my hard drive, but unfortunately I left it with a good friend of mine *ahem*pohyi!!**ahem* So I camwhored a little with my cousins and tried to do my assignment. So I decided to put up pictures instead of doing a proper post .

So this time round I managed to spend a little more time with my cousins and two kiddies whom i'm too sure of how we are related but we are. So here are the pictures! :)

Deepaq's finally back!!! :) Super happy!!

He's super sweet la, after coming back he brought me out the next day. So as per usual we had our regular Carl's Jr and it is still as awesome as ever! But i think they're like cutting down on the quantities of fries. Darn!!

This fella went on a shopping spree and blew almost 300 bucks within a few hours. Girlfriend didnt even buy anything! But he's still the sweetest thing, from wanting to buy me a Valentines present to offering me a lingering toned sentence 'I send you to uni laaaaaa'. Even though we didnt find anything for me and he refused to let me pay for his flip flops as a valentine's day present (he thinks its too cheap! HAHA. he was like, save up the money and get me something better :P) , we still had an awesome couple hours together catching up on those few weeks that we havent seen each other. <3

Today after youth we all rushed to Kimi's Cafe to prep a surprise party for Leon. Quite the fun and lots of catching up and stuff. All in all it was a great night.

i'm writing this post now because it is something i rather do than work on my assignment

Till now i cannot believe that I'm taking up a law subject. Like serious;y, Grace and Law is not a good match at all. Given that I have NO background in law at all, and being thrown an assignment on a law essay of the impact of natural law on the Malaysian Legal System, can die la!

I did start reading on the Legal System and all, tried to understand what's natural law and such. Cracked, hit, bang my head against the wall, trying to grasp the true meaning of the concept and all.. Thank goodness I did not take up Law as a degree itself. I dont even dare think of what will happen. Gosh.

The semester has commenced 2 weeks already and so far all is good minus the fact that I have 2 eight am classes which kinda suck because i've to wake up early for it but it is nonetheless good, because I finish class at 10am and 11am respectively! Awesome timetable! :) but my awesomeness for the week deteriorates as the week comes to a weekEND because on thursdays and fridays I have classes till 5.30 and 6.30 PM!!! imagine me and public transport during that hour! it is practically suicide! :0

But so far i have yet to go home at that hour, so i'll see how it goes this friday. *scared*

Super emo. parents left me and my sleeping sister at home without leaving a note. make me worried bout mom's safety because she's normally home at this hour and today she's not. So when i finally was able to reach mom, she told me she was with dad and where she was, i felt relieved and upset at the same time because she didnt even bother to leave a note OR text me.

so now i'm hungry for dinner and cant decide on whether i want maggi curry or domino's. and there's no one for me to call and help me to decide.

So now, i is emo. :/

Registering for Sem 2

OMG today I went to uni to register for next sem's subjects which start at 2pm. I reached at 1 and found the 3Js- Jess, Justin and Jeremy sitting there already. I could see they were like super 'fan' over what they should choose.

So like after 40 mins of thinking and choosing and calling, they all finally decided. Jess and I registered at the same time and were rejected because we didnt hand in our A Levels cert. Pfft. So technically speaking, we have been on a conditional offer for about 5 months or so. Well I guess it was our faults for not handing in la, so Jess pleaded to the nice lady at Registry 2 to let us enroll first, then we bring our certs from home today itself. She was nice enough to agree to us, then she was like, you better bring it in by 5.30pm or else i'll cancel your subjects. So Jess drove us back and thank God the file was where she first looked*because Jess no keep her own certs!* so yea, we got back to uni within 1 hour and 10 mins, handed in our certs, gotten our 'confirmed offer letter' and so now we're proper students! :D

Jess pointed out like today everything was given the other way. like in Registry 2, my letter was given to her and hers to mine, and at mamak, her milo was given to me, then the fella gave her my teh ais. -.-

Weird la..

And since her voice is damn sexy now, *side track*she called me yesterday afternoon on my house phone and i couldnt recognise her voice. See! that bad kayh! i thought it was some office lady calling for me to collect money or looking for me for some weird reason.

*back form side tracking*Recently I realised that nasi goreng kampung is nasi goreng kampung because of the ikan bilis and chilli padi. Jess and i went to the mamak and she ordered nasi goreng kampung tak nak pedas tak nak sayur. The no vege part has nothing to do with it la, but like, nasi goreng kampung that is not pedas in NOT nasi goreng kampung. Weird -.-" but still the mamak obeyed the 'customers are always right' rule and gave her what she wanted. So yes, the last two paragraphs are not necessary .

It has come to my awareness that I need to blog to jot down things or events that happen because if I dont, I will probably not remember them months from now and I want to be able to remember them even the littlest memories because it might be funny or like, its just worth remembering.

So i'm not blogging to please anyone but myself!

Had lunch at Poh's place today . Picked up Sophie and used the trusty GPS to get there. The mistake was using the GPS!!! Instead of using the Eastin way(which was nearer, of course!), it took me all the way to church then using the University roundabout to get there. rah rah rah!

anyways, lunch was awesome, meatballs were meaty, spaghetti was al dente, garlic bread was superb and the mashed potato was mmmmmmmmmm *dreamy face*.

Hock helped to make pastry puff and I sliced apples to thin slices *proud of self*. We had like 2 and a half rounds of apple puff while singing to Glee's Marry You.

Definitely something fun to do during the hols.

Youth Camp 2010

I just came back from youth camp and i though i should write this down before my memory goes foggy.

The camp was God-filled and really fun. It was definately not what I was expecting. Actually I wasnt really expecting much from the camp because signing up for youth camp to me, is like, by default. I dont need a reason to go for youth camp because its quite "duh" that you have to go for it.

It's been a while since I had experience a full band worship team in a youth camp and I applaud the worship coordinator for getting a full band instead of just a basic band. God is in every session and it made me realise how sensitive I was to the spirit. It felt like someone broke into my tear ducts and took away broke the tap.

Through this camp I learned more on worship coordination and responsibilities of a worship leader, how to be a 'present' leader in the camp, step out of my comfort zone to make other visitors and campers feel welcomed.

Even though I did not get to spend a lot of time together with my closer friends, I got to know more new people and even people from church whom I seldom talk to. I am very proud of all that came for this camp because everyone was very friendly and hospitable to everyone. Also, they are spiritually groomed and are serious about their faith. It reinforces my thinking that the young is also good and capable of doing God's work!

I felt very encouraged on the last night when I prayed for one of my cell members because after I prayed for her, she told me that it was the almost same prayer that a preacher prayed for her when she attended another youth camp previously. I shared with her what has been happening this year along with the challenges and joys and she gave me a word in return. It was what I needed because I have felt distant from her and now even though we still may not be that close, but on a christian/biblical sense, a stronger bond has been formed.

God has indeed been good and I proclaim blessings, security and more love to be upon my life and the lives of my loved ones! Amen!

I bought a wedding magazine on friday with Jess. Happy!!! Before you start telling me that bridal mags are expensive, I got it at this place in Curve where they sell cheap expired mags. Only 5 bucks! So it's perfectly fine :)

i'm super happy and jumping for joy(almost) because after this tuesday, i've no more assignments for this semester!!! woots!

I must say God has been good because for all the different groups i'm in for different subjects, my members have been and still are AWESOME! there is no case of people slacking or not doing their job, everyone's very united and semangat-ed to do work, so everything's FUNTASTIC!

Tonight went out with one of my groups to finish up our last assignment for the semester. While we work we drink happy juice! ( a bit only la, nothing much. If deepaq approves of it, means its no biggie because he doesnt need to be there to jaga me IF i get drunk, which i didnt!)

so yes, funnnn!!!! and believe it or not it kept me up till now to finish up my part. so YAY!!!

i realise that i havent been blogging much. SORRY!!!

Seriously uni life has been quite hectic in the sense that there are so many deadlines to catch and so many assignments that were left untouch till the last minute. Okay not till the last min la, but I didnt really start right away after the assignments were assignment. I really learnt my lesson! rahhhhh!

so yes, truly God has blessed my uni life and all's sailing smoothly. Cant wait for sem break so I can earn some ka-ching!!! Sleepy nao..

Completed 3 assignments in 2 weeks.

Been sleeping at 4-5am and waking up at 10/11 am in the morning this week.

Getting excited over cell project!!

Went to uni today even when I had no classes to film a group project. I feel really good about it because we actually had fun while doing it and I got to know my group members a little more today.

Been talking to people bout getting married early recently and i must say that i'm not too glad to hear the responses. One tells me to enjoy life, earn tonnes of money, then when i'm OLDER then only settle down. but that's not what i want :(

yes i agree that money is essential and that i would need some when i get married and settle down. But it's not ALL THAT MATTERS. I know that i am materialistic but i would be smart enough to have saved enough for my married life. Maybe not too much till i'm rolling in greens but just enough for my future hubby and i to live in a cosy little apartment.

and yes i do need to find a man 5 years older than me JUST SO THAT i can get married at my ideal age.

but if someone who is younger (not younger than me kayh!) BUT still rich(by his own means and not because of his family background), I wouldnt mind :)

at one point in time, or maybe right now, i find myself occasionally(okay, not so occasionally now, quite rare actually) thinking bout my recent ex-almost-beau, thinking of what could have happened and what would happen if we actually got together. Then, almost suddenly like a mind-map, the arrow points to a current possible interest that may or may not be my future husband. But nevertheless it is still a very vague option and there are times where I dont think it is actually possible that him and I get married because I still cant picture that quite nicely in my head. I know that this should be the least of my concerns right now as my main focus should be on my degree but I cant because I WANT TO GET MARRIED. Yes, in cantonese its "han ga" - desperate to get hitched. RAH RAH RAH...

If I could, I really just want to settle down already, but head knowledge says that it's better to get a degree at least to survive in the harsh reality that pays no attention to ppl without a paper acknowledging their knowledge ie. a degree. You know, like just in case i get a divorce(God forbid!) , I would need to find means to earn meself a living. That's where the cert comes in handy ;D

So back to where I was ranting. Like I always said, I just wish that God would somehow show me who my future hubby would be so I wouldnt be looking all over for him. I know that in HIS time, He will send him to me, but God's child is getting impatient!!

Uni started. Class started.

Everything's been going real smoothly and soon I feel no excitement in life for now.

Everything feels so mundane and boring.

However going to work (yes I'm still working) makes everything feel better because I've got awesome people there!! Including my boss and the boss from the opposite shop :D

Classes have been fine, and I've met new friends so that's good new !

Tutorials are starting next week, which means I've to go earlier!

watched Grown Ups with him yesterday. Freaking funny!!!!!!! i know i said that "the A Team" or was it "The Losers" was funny that I rolf-ed 3 quarters of it, but after Grown Ups, those laughters that were in both the movies cannot ever ever be compared to Grown Ups. Damn funny like nobody's business!!!

It is definitely a must see! :) *highly recommended*

oh, before that I was out with Jess and Ruth. Finally get to see Ruth !! the last time i saw her was like on my birthday! so that was very very very loooong!!!!!

We watched Step Up 3 but not in 3D tho because the queue was very long and we were late, so yup ..

It was mind blowing! like really! the songs, the dancers, the routine, the cast!!! all very well planned out and if i watched it in 3D, it would have been

I am back!!! not that I was away at cambodia since the previous post, I came back like a week after that post.

Got back to work, and life started again until the 23th of August, where i signed up for uni(so soon!!!).

Things have been pretty mundane, with working and all. Nothing much to tell except that I LOVE WORKING AT SUBWAY!!!!!!!!

Oh yes, celebrated my birthday last sunday at my workplace because I had to work.

That morning after conducting True Love in children church, they surprised me with my favourite Coffee Bean cheese cake selection and sang me a birthday song which made me cry.

I received a lot of phone calls that night and it made me feel really special because I never had so many people call me personally to wish me.

Jess and Ruth even competed to call me, to see who reached first. {psst... Ruth won!}

Ash and Gaya, thank you for calling too! Cant wait till we meet up on saturday.

The friday night before my birthday, I had AWESOME korean dinner at Hock's place with the youth leaders and Pastor Ron and aunty Grace.

Oh ! the day before my birthday, Deepaq and I went to 1U to celebrate my be-earlied birthday since i wont be seeing him on my actual birthday. We watched The Sorcerer's Apprentice and had lunch at Chillis. Yum tum!!! I always love spending time with him. Makes me happy :) :) :)

*fast forward*

I had awesome German lunch on sunday with my family then i got dropped off at work.

Work was pretty okay until SOME PEOPLE decided to show up with cake and a lit candle, singing "happy birthday" at the counter.

I was sooooooooooooooooooooo touched!!! They travelled the distance to see me on my birthday!!!

yup, I was very happy!

The presents that I received this year were all very unexpected in the sense that I did not expect on receiving so many presents and I got em!!

One of the most heartwarming presents other than the visit from the dynamic duo was Steel's present.

Even tho its just a simple letter, but it is filled with a lot of memories and feelings that are dug out from the inside. As I read it, I was like grabbing tissues to soak up my tears and fluid that was coming outta my nose(haha! disgusting!! :D )

even Evon managed to slip my present thru. and she's not even in KL!

Hello!!!

Update from me! ;)

I am now working at a certain Subway and it has been balls of fun!!!

Yes I stand 8 hours a day without sitting down(serious, no joke!) , but it's really fun! At least for me it is:)

My supervisors and big boss is really awesome.

It's been 4 days of working and I finally get to serve tmr. I cannot wait!!! I just hope i dont screw up cutting the bread wrongly or else have to throw away..

WORKING IS FUN!!!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE!

But i think it is affecting my sayang most :)

I used to have an entire day devoted to him, but now it is only a mere 2 hours IF i dont knock out till 7am the next day when I get home from work.

But he's being a real champ for being sooooo considerate. It adds on to the "that's why I love you" list.

I became a maid for the day. From the moment I woke up, I've been clearing the cupboards and what not. Although it is not the visible kind of clearing, hence even if you walk into the house, you wont see a difference but I DID clean and clear kayh!

Everything cleared was in cupboards and what not, so you can't see la! duh! :)

I feel accomplished and happy!!! I dont mind being a housewife now! lol. But after this week of constant going out and coming home removing my make up and pretty clothes, all that's left is a girl with eyebags, hair tied up with hair band, baggy clothes and all. I finally understood why the short story of The Drover's wife that we learnt in high school where the drover's wife HAD to dress up once a week and take a leisurely stroll. Because if she didnt make the effort to dress herself up decently at least once a week, she'll go mad!

at least I will! :D

Imagine everyday you're stuck at home looking at yourself in ugly clothes and a very unappealing face, you're a turn off, even to yourself!

so yes :) Tomorrow imma wash the bedsheets!

Cleaning the house is more pleasurable when my mom isnt there to tell me what to do and when I can do it according to my own pace :)

Been out with the boyfriend for two days in a row. Happy :) :) :)

Yesterday we went to 1U and bought him his present on a bet that he won. No, it's not about football!

But it wasnt that bad la, given that he bought me presents for my birthday as well. So we're even! :)

Then today we went to Mid V, and watched Karate Kid (finally!).

OMG!!! Love!!! like totally! but i'm not paedo kayh! :D

My favourite part is when he spoke in Mandarin to Mei Ying's dad, saying that she was the best friend he ever had etc. Damn touched! :'(

So yes,

after my trip to Langkawi, it's his turn now.

Brings me back to November last year, when we were still "work in progress".

I'm proud to say that we have made our first six months a damn good one.

We went to SPCA today and visited many cute doggies and kitties!

OMG, like the little puppies are sooo cute. I already set up a to-buy-list.

First, the little black kuchis!!! (its not the name of the breed kayh!)

Second, my sayang's bear. This little bear had this layer of fat on it, and soooooooo keute!!! He cuddles it like it's his baby. This is a side of him that people dont see. Under that manly self, is that sensitive side that is so gentle with little creatures. However, it does not exempt him from bulllying(LOL. K la, it's not bullying, it's playing) the doggies. :D

Third, imma get my kitties!! Just being in the room with up to ten cats, it's so amazing! These cats like damn manja, but I like to spoil them nuts :) :)

OMGGGG! I was thinking to myself, I wanna get a house full of cats, then I thought, I dont wanna end up like a spinster like 75 cats!

BUT i still want my kitties and puppies. Max 2 dogs 2 cats.

I'll just wait for the day I get em.

Just within 2 day, big things happened. OMG damn annoying ! but what to do, I didnt see it coming.

1. I reversed my car and hit an on coming car.

2. kena summoned by MBPJ. ish...

So I was having dinner with Brian last night, so after that I went to the car and reversed. I admit I saw the fella de la.. I stopped kayh! but when he hon me, I ter-shocked and stepped on the accelerator to reverse further summore. SO shit happened. Got out of the car, settle with the guy. It was nothing much la actually, I just scratched his car, probably the length of anyone's middle finger. The unfortunate thing for him is that his car is white. It's ONLY A MYVI! but thank God it's ONLY a MYVI. If it were a chao branded car I might have just died! So he asked to pay.

I chose to act dumb and pretend that I didnt understand any other languages/dialects except english. That fella, could not speak ENGLiSH!! I was like, LOLOLOLOL (in my heart la duh!) but yea, he could only understand 10% of what I'm saying. He spoke to me in Mandarin, Cantonese, and even BM! funny la. . So he resorted to calling his girlfriend who could speak in English on the phone. the situation was quite funny la. But nevertheless VERY VERY VERY unfortunate. I've to like meet up with the guy today to pay his 100 bucks.

I damn sad kayh.. 100 bucks goes outta my pocket.

Then,

today I went to have lunch with Jess. How was I supposed to know that I need to pay the stupid machine!!!!

So yes, I've gotten my first summon today , 17th JUNE!!! I'm upset la kayh! severely! another 100 bucks down the drain, =.="

These two can really run their own radio station, but of course, with only me as their loyal listener because everything I listen to is XXX. They will pollute poor kiddies brains out!! So i will be the only one that is XXX brain washed. :D

I've just found my way thru to Westlife again and reignited my love for their songs.

Yes yes most of them (or to say ALL of them) are love songs.

And all of a sudden I find myself in a really lousy mood.

Super rough day today.

So I should rewind back in time to dwell on where we were yesterday, doing the things we did.

It was simple, childlike, yet the most fulfilling night ever.

I never knew that love could be so perfect tho at the back of my head it's a fact.

But a fact is different from an experience.

Knowing a fact does not let you feel, but just gain knowledge. But an experience, makes your heart go warm and mushy. It puts a never ending smile on your face and you start thinking to yourself, 'how did I get so lucky, seriously?'

But then at the same time, I look at this crappy situation that I'm in now, and again I think to myself, "what sh*t have I gotten myself into?"

How can things turn from something so sweet, so romantic into a time where every sentence was a bomb to each other.

I hope reconciliation is on it's way.

I guess it is that time again to blog. It's been awhile, and I assumed that I have studied. Probably not like cramming style yet, but more like chilling, detailed, laid-back kinda studying. I like it this way but things need to be sped up because time waits for NO ONE! how sad isnt it..

So. Yesterday, Jinny brought MORE korean students over for youth and I had two of em in my cell, Victoria Jolie and Anna. Did you know that Anna in Korean means Grace as well? No right?? now you do! :)

After that, my kasamo and I had dinner with Mr and Mrs Hock + the four koreans - Kimmie, Anna, Victoria and Peace. AND wei meng :)

It's super fun hanging out with them and I thought to myself, "I dont need korean series, I have a live one here!"

I especially love it when they speak amongst themselves, or when Jinny speaks to them in Korean. I LOVE the sound of the language... and their expression of tone! Gosh, so cute! :)

Paper starts on Tuesday! Need to read up on that paper again... God help me please? :)
